Somehow these photos express something different when they are in color. Generally, for street photography, I prefer to choose black and white, but in this case, I have no preference, not in relation to this type of photography but to this particular series. When taking these photos, I thought about taking enough to share two versions of these elegant geese on the lakes in the Palermo forest. So now you can appreciate these beauties in a different way in color with a βslightβ cinematic touch in terms of editing.
One of the interesting aspects of taking photos of them is knowing that they run freely throughout the forest. There are no cages or enclosures; they live there and generally roam the entire extensive area in flocks. Although they are very beautiful animals, it is important to remember that they are also very dangerous.
The Palermo forests have many attractions in addition to the place itself, but I am sure that these animals are representative of this place. They are everywhere and now belong completely to this great tourist spot in the city. They are beautiful and friendly, looking for food, and can get very close to you, but if you bother them, they can act differently. It is no secret that their beauty goes hand in hand with their aggressiveness, especially if they feel threatened. They do not always flee; in fact, they attack in packs.
After writing all this, I see the following photo, and the look in one of their eyes seems to coincide with what I am saying.
I don't know what's cooler, taking pictures of them out of the water or in it. Both settings are wonderful, and it's also about capturing nature itself in its wildlife. It will always be a pleasant experience to visit the place and see them. This time, you can appreciate the details, colors, and textures in a different way than in the previous post, where I shared black and white photos of these animals. Which version do you like best? Let me know in the comments :)
I hope you have a good start to the week, an excellent workday, and that you enjoy every second of your present.
That's all folks! Thanks for stopping by and appreciating.
