A few weeks ago I was planning to organize a boudoir portrait photo shoot which would be the last one of the year and I really thought it would be impossible to do it because of how complicated this month is for me, finally I could do it in the middle of all the chaos and the little time available... but male model? Well, not exactly the results of the boudoir session but rather some pictures that the models took of me before I started with their session 😅

Due to the trust between me and the models I decided to do the job in a more relaxed way (I needed to relax), I thought that when I arrived to the location obviously they would enter the boudoir to make up which would take a few minutes, I took with me some whisky and a cigar that a good childhood friend of mine gave me as a present.

Enjoying a couple of drinks and a cigar while we started working at that moment was relaxing for me.

Hace algunas semanas tenía pensado organizar una producción fotográfica de retratos boudoir que sería la última del año y realmente pensé que sería imposible realizarla por lo complicado que es este mes para mí, finalmente pude hacerla en medio de todo el caos y el poco tiempo disponible... pero ¿Modelo masculino? Bueno, no son exactamente los resultados de la sesión boudoir sino más bien algunas fotos que las modelos me tomaron a mi antes de empezar con la sesión de ellas 😅

Debido a la confianza que hay entre las modelos y yo decidí hacer el trabajo de una forma más tranquila (necesitaba relajarme), pensé que al llegar a la locación obviamente ellas entrarían al tocador a maquillarse lo cual tomaría unos minutos, llevé conmigo un poco de whisky y un habano que me obsequió un buen amigo de la infancia.

Disfrutar de un par de tragos y un habano mientras empezamos a trabajar en ese momento para mí era algo relajante.

I took the opportunity to take some photos as soon as I saw that the location had a drinks area, a mini bar, I thought it would be interesting to be able to appreciate that in the background, although I wanted the photos to be quite out of focus.

How did these portraits come about? When the girls came out of the boudoir they told me that I always took pictures of everyone but myself 🤣 and they suggested that I set up the camera settings to take some portraits of me, taking advantage of the fact that I was in that whisky and cigar setting. The truth is that I had wanted to do a theme where I was the model for a long time but I wasn't thinking that it would be at that moment, it came up spontaneously.

So the protagonists of these photos are Nahomi and Odemara, who had to learn a bit about focus points and lighting 😄

Aproveché para tomar algunas fotos en cuánto ví que en la locación disponía de una zona de tragos, un mini bar, pensé que sería interesante que eso se pueda apreciar de fondo aunque quise las fotos bastante desenfocadas.

¿Cómo surgieron estos retratos? Cuando las chicas salieron del tocador me dijeron que siempre tomaba fotos a todos menos a mi mismo 🤣 y propusieron que les configure los valores de la cámara para hacerme unos retratos aprovechando que estaba en ese escenario de whisky y habano. La verdad hace mucho que quería hacer una temática dónde yo sea el modelo pero no estaba pensando que sería en ese momento, surgió de forma espontánea.

Así que las protagonistas de estas fotos son Nahomi y Odemara, quienes tuvieron que aprender un poco sobre puntos de enfoque e iluminación 😄

On the other hand I would like to apologize for the tiredness that can be seen on my face, it has been days of sleeping very few hours and a lot of stress, also if some postures or angles are not very good, I'm a photographer but not a model 😅 I love taking portraits but I don't like to be in front of the camera.

Por otra parte quisiera disculparme por el cansancio que se puede apreciar en mi cara, han sido días de dormir muy pocas horas y de mucho estrés, también si algunas posturas o ángulos no son muy bueno, soy fotógrafo pero no modelo 😅 amo hacer retratos pero no me agrada mucho estar de frente a la cámara.
