In the autonomous city of Buenos Aires are distributed different mechanical workshops that are responsible for applying maintenance and servicing the subway trains. Today we were doing some work in this workshop called "Polvorín", which is one of the oldest in the city and one of the first as well. After we finished a colleague and I stopped to look at some of these vehicles and took 5 minutes to take some pictures.
We both have a passion for photography and know when there is a good opportunity to take some shots. So it also served as a model for me to make this series.
It's interesting to take pictures here because I will always find great perspectives and angles, a lot of symmetry and good framing. Besides being able to capture these vehicles that are mostly collector's items and many of them are not fully operational, something like a museum.
On the other hand it's a pity that I have to take this kind of pictures with my phone because of obvious company and state policies. But still the results are always nice for me and I hope they are for you too 😊

En la ciudad autónoma de Buenos Aires se encuentran distribuidos diferentes talleres de mecánica que se encargan de aplicar mantenimiento y hacerle servicios a los trenes del subterráneo. El día de hoy estuvimos haciendo algunos trabajos en éste taller llamado "Polvorín", el cual es uno de los más antiguos de la ciudad y uno de los primeros también. Después de haber terminado un compañero y yo nos detuvimos a observar algunos de estos vehículos y nos tomamos 5 minutos para tomar algunas fotos.
A ambos nos apasiona la fotografía y sabemos cuando haya una buena oportunidad para hacer algunas capturas. Así que también me sirvió de modelo para hacer ésta serie.
Es interesante tomar fotos acá porque siempre voy a encontrar perspectivas y ángulos geniales, mucha simetría y buenos encuadres. Además de poder capturar estos vehículos que en su mayoría ya son de colección y muchos no están en funcionamiento en su totalidad, algo como un museo.
Por otra parte es una lastima que este tipo de fotografías tenga que hacerlas con mi teléfono por políticas obvias de la empresa y el estado. Pero aún así los resultados son siempre agradables para mí y espero que lo sean para ustedes también 😊
