Hello everyone, how are you today?
I just had a memorable trip to the beautiful city of Da Lat in the highlands of Vietnam. Unlike most parts of Vietnam, Da Lat has a cool climate all year round. In particular, this place has many beautiful scenes to explore. With the mountainous terrain, I enjoyed the photos taken from above here. Below are a few photos I took from high angles of this beautiful city.
But first let me introduce a little about this city. Da Lat is a city in Lam Dong province, located on Lam Vien plateau, in the Central Highlands, Vietnam. Previously, this land was the home of the Lach, Chil and Sre people of the Co Ho ethnic group. With an altitude of over 1,500 meters above sea level and surrounded by mountain ranges and forest flora, Da Lat has a mild and cool mountainous climate all year round. It was for that reason that at the end of the 19th century, Governor-General Paul Doumer decided to choose Lam Vien plateau to build a resort station for the French in Indochina at the recommendation of doctor Alexandre Yersin, who had explored this land in 1893. In the first half of the 20th century, from a desolate place, the French planned and built a beautiful city with villas, offices, hotels and schools, then it became a tourist and educational center of Indochina at that time.
Experiencing the ups and downs of two wars and a difficult period in the 1970s and 1980s, Da Lat today is a rather crowded city. It is likened to a museum of European architecture in the twentieth century. The rich natural and human resources make Da Lat one of the famous tourist destinations of Vietnam, attracting millions of domestic and foreign tourists to visit and relax every year. In addition, Da Lat is also a center of education and scientific research, a religiously diverse city with the presence of hundreds of pagodas, churches, monasteries... It is also famous as a The agricultural area is rich especially with vegetable and flower products. Do not miss this place if you have the opportunity to travel to Vietnam.
Every time I come here, I have the opportunity to take hundreds of beautiful photos. And one of my favorite photos of this place are those taken from above, probably because of its distinctive mountainous terrain. The rolling mountains create beautiful valleys where people live and farm. The roads will lead us up and down continuously through beautiful pine hills. I love watching the valleys of greenhouses here where people grow vegetables and flowers in them, especially they become more shimmering at night when they are lit. Also, early morning is also my favorite time to take pictures. In the early morning, we can admire the clouds hovering over the houses when viewed from above. It's a scene you wouldn't see in most other parts of Vietnam.
Hope you guys enjoy this collection of mine too. Thank you for taking the time to read my post and have a nice day!
