Indonesia is one of my favorite holiday destinations. It has world class surf and world class scuba diving. Even though I love taking underwater photos, I can't miss out on all the topside opportunities that Bali has to offer. There are beautiful sunsets, temples, and secret coves that are just beckoning the photography enthusiast.
If these beautiful scenes don't make you want to take a trip to Bali, I don't know what will!
I find its always nice to throw the rule of thirds out when doing a reflection shot. Sunset Bali view.
You never know what the sunset will bring. Often it gets even better the longer you wait.
Overlooking the waves at Uluwatu as a surfer paddles back in.
View from the cliffs on the southern peninsula of Bali.
You have to keep an eye out for monkeys here as they will try to steal your food, drinks, and even sunglasses.
Old stone temples abound all around the island.
The monkey temple, built high upon a cliff overlooking the sea.
Food is cheap and the views are never ending.
Seaweed farmers cultivating the shallow ocean.
It pays to explore. You might just stumble upon secret coves like this one.
I try to never miss a sunset here.
See I told you.
Another majestic temple.
My partner, my muse, my model.
I'm usually not one for cityscapes, but even those are beautiful here.
Every morning I would love to take a walk in the rice fields. There is something so calming about this place.
I'll see you in Bali!
