A trip to Antarctica is not complete without a ton of penguin photos. Here are some of my favorites. They are mostly unafraid of visitors, being so remote and isolated. Unable to fly, the penguins will just waddle right past you as they walk to and from their nesting sites. They are awkwardly funny, until they get in the water, which they zip through like missiles.

Thief! Thief! This gentoo penguin is stealing a coveted rock from a nearby nest to add to his own.
The views in Antarctica are breathtaking. They become truly iconic when you add a bunch of penguins to the mix.
