Hey everyone! My name is Geoff, but I go by Dyptre online. I'm new here and wanted to make my first post to the Hive an introduction to who I am and what I'm about.
I also want to give a shoutout to ,
, and
for introducing, educating, and helping me get on this platform. I'm stoked about the potential here, and I'm excited to explore more.
For just over 3 years now I've been engrossed in the art of landscape photography. What started with me taking pictures on my phone camera while hiking has now turned into a passion. Based in Vancouver Canada my images comprise primarily of Western Canada; including the Canadian Rockies, Sunshine Coast, and Temperate Rainforests of British Columbia.
While my style and processing have changed multiple times as I've learned new techniques and skills in the field, regardless of the medium, processing, or location my goal has always been to show off the natural world in an inspiring and beautiful way. Hopefully, this community finds the same joy in my photographs as I do in creating and sharing them.
Here are a few of my favorites below with brief descriptions.
Look forward to chatting and learning with you all!
Cheers,
-Dyptre
