It can be expensive to print your images - so it's always satisfying when you finally see an image printed and framed.
This is an image I took back in January of this year during some of the cold frost we received locally - a rare event that happens only some years.
A friend of mine saw the image and told me he lived it at wanted it on his wall as a reminder for himself.
See, he was there with me the day that I took this image. We'd set out at 6am to catch the early blue hour light and hopefully a nice sunrise before work. He wasn't able to capture anything he liked that day. This tree however caught my eye as the early morning light showed. Backlighting this tree with a bright red glow made it really stand out against the cold blue of the frost.
My friend told me this image would serve as a reminder for what he needs to look for and pay attention to when out photographing and looking for the beauty in Nature.
Here is the digital file, the print, and the final print framed on his wall. The blue wall of his office just looks that much cleaner too!
