These photos are of a couple of girls I had the pleasure of photographing. Both are very lovely girls with incredible energy who wanted some professional photos together, since they didn't have any, if you'll excuse the redundancy.

Photographing couples is something I've done for a long time, and it's something I enjoy. Venezuela is a rather conservative country in certain aspects, and one of them where this is reflected is in society's acceptance of same-sex couples. Moving within the creative community, this contact is quite normal and naturalized for me, but for many, this reality is not so.
Fotografiar parejas es algo que he hecho por mucho tiempo y es algo que me gusta. Venezuela es un país bastante conservador en ciertos aspectos y uno de ellos donde se refleja es en la aceptación por parte de la sociedad de las parejas del mismo sexo. Por moverme entre el medio creativo, este contacto para mí es bastante normal y lo tengo naturalizado, pero para muchos esta realidad no es así.
Even though this perspective has changed in recent times, it remains a latent characteristic, and depending on where you are, you can hear opinions where this love is completely unacceptable, and others where it's much more common. I personally believe that it's okay to love, and your sexual orientation doesn't matter, and I really like couples who feel happy to express it without fear of being judged.
A pesar de que en los últimos tiempos esta perspectiva ha cambiado, sigue siendo una característica latente y, dependiendo de donde estés, puedes escuchar opiniones donde este amor es completamente inaceptable y otras donde es mucho más común. Yo personalmente creo que está bien amar y no importa tu orientación sexual y me gustan mucho las parejas que se sienten felices de expresarlo sin miedo a ser juzgados.
