Hello Hivers, today I want to share these wedding photos of a foreign couple who got married here in my country. The reason they were in the country is quite interesting: the groom works for the embassy of his home country, and by a twist of fate, he came here for work and coincidentally, his now-wife lived here. That's how they met, both being foreigners.
Hola Hivers, hoy quiero compartirles estas fotos de boda que son de una pareja extranjera que se casó aquí en mi país. La razón por la que estaban en el país es bastante interesante: el novio trabaja para la embajada de su país natal y, por giros de la vida, vino por trabajo y casualmente su ahora esposa vivía aquí. Así se conocieron, siendo ella también extranjera.
The groom spoke Spanish quite well, but his partner, despite living here, spoke much less Spanish. However, communicating wasn't too difficult.
El novio hablaba bastante bien español, pero su pareja, a pesar de vivir aquí, dominaba mucho menos el idioma. Sin embargo, no fue complejo comunicarnos.
This wedding was quite simple, but being foreigners, there are always parts of what they expect and what we expect that are different because of our cultures. Even so, as Caribbeans, we also have many things in common. It was a wedding I enjoyed, and I hope you like the photos.
Esta fue una boda bastante sencilla, pero al ser extranjeros, siempre hay partes de lo que ellos esperan y nosotros que son diferentes debido a nuestras culturas. Aun así, como caribeños, también tenemos muchas cosas en común. Fue una boda que disfruté y espero que les guste.
