Ever been a part of one of those assignments where you don’t know jack shit about the subject but the deadline for submission keeps nearing like there’s no tomorrow? Yeah, this one was something close to that but turned out to be super fun.
We, in groups, were given topics and asked to create a picture album for the same. Surprisingly, our topic was something related to fashion or styling. Let me tell you that at this time, I was pursuing my triple majors in Political Science, Economics and Sociology so don’t ask me how this makes sense 😂 I still have zero clue as to how this helped my course in any manner.
On the bright side, however, we went around the streets of Bangalore and I clicked Instagram worthy pictures for a friend who also happened to be the model for this project.
I think it’s one of those visits from NAAC / Accreditation Committees where your college goes berserk about being creative and obsesses over showing the “uniqueness” of their college, only for this drama to continue for a week 🤌
Of the many segments in this project, this one happens to be my favourite. I clicked these pictures on a deserted street, outside a house. The theme (I guess) was to do with trench coats and that’s why the attire 🤷♀️ Of the 6 hours we dedicated to get various shoots done, we spent about half of it taking 876286 breaks to eat food from 876286 cafés 😂😂😂
Butttttttttttt who knew that the sun would choose to give its best performance on that particular day only 😆 For a place like Bangalore that is known to have a pleasant weather throughout the year, this particular day was exceptionally hot. This poor girl started melting inside that coat by the end of the day.
The submission was supposed to be the very next day ( I have never once met an Indian student who does not wake up till the very end of the deadline to get things done 😂 it’s like an inbuilt feature we have to work only under deadline pressure).
We went back home and collated pictures from all the themes and segments that were shot. I stumbled upon these pictures only yesterday and was taken back to college days when we did the most absurd things in life to get a good score 😂🤌 I still do not know how to file taxes but for some damn reason know the Pythagoras Theorem like it’s my birthright 😂
