We had a walk around Millers Dale which is a valley on the River Wye in Derbyshire, UK. Firstly, going down the wooden steps to the River Wye.
We walked along the footpath next to the river. The river follows a former railway line, part of it is now the Monsal Trail.
The pooch checked to see if we were following him. Another lovely day.
Typically, there was lots of oxeye daisies along the hedgerows.
It really is a lovely nature walk, especially at this time of year.
As well as marking boundaries and keeping farm animals in, stone walls provide a home for wildlife and plants.
We followed the footpath over the field back to the car. A nice, flat walk.
