Walking around the Longshaw Estate owned by the National Trust in Derbyshire, UK, there was a mixture of lovely blue skies and dark clouds. The past few days, the weather has started to change from being quite hot to overcast. I'm quite pleased, as I prefer cooler weather.
It's always a great place to visit with lovely views of the Peak District, old wooded areas, parkland and moorlands.
We crossed over Burbage Brook by way of the wooden footbridge.
It was becoming increasingly darker over yonder, but it didn't last long as it quickly brightened up, and the rain stayed away.
It is also a good place for photos as the landscape changes from season to season.
The solitary sheep wanting a bit of alone time!
If you want to find out about the history of the place you can book yourself on to a guided tour. We preferred to please ourselves!
