Wow that first photo is freaking awesome! I would love to do this but don't have all the equipment for it (yet), you got such lovely shots and this is a nicely detailed post on how to set it up. You've inspired me to make it happen. I just recently got a remote shutter release and I've tested it out, I'm quite happy with it and maybe if I sat a little way away I could use that for now.

I'll be waiting to see that Pine Martin, I think they are wonderful animals. Powerful for their size and super inquisitive so your setup will be sure to bring one sniffing.
