I'm back with more Figuras Anónimas. Today is the turn of Calíope, the mountain guardian.

¡Hola Hive!

Ya estoy de vuelta con más Figuras Anónimas. Hoy es el turno de Calíope, la guardiana de la montaña.

My grandfather told me, using the same words his grandfather used with him, the story of the guardian of the mountain.

It is unknown when she arrived, where she came from, or what she protects, but it is known that she is there, vigilant.

Mi abuelo me contó, utilizando las mismas palabras que su abuelo usó cuando le contó a él, la historia de la guardiana de la montaña.

No se sabe cuándo llegó, de dónde vino o qué protege, pero se sabe que está allí, vigilante.

She can be seen in the middle of the day when the sun is at its highest point, and in the middle of the night, as a barely visible silhouette.

We are forbidden to get too close because those who try are never seen again.

Se le puede ver a medio día, cuando el sol está en su punto más alto, y a media noche, como una silueta apenas visible.

Tenemos prohibido acercarnos mucho, porque aquellos que lo intentan no vuelven a ser vistos.

Calliope's photoshoot was not easy to do: the place had no shadows, the sun was at its highest point and everything was green. Despite this, we managed to get a result that we were both satisfied with.

La sesión de Calíope no fue fácil de realizar: el lugar no tenía sombras, el sol estaba en su punto más alto y todo era verde. A pesar de ello, logramos obtener un resultado con el que ambos estuvimos satisfechos.

When we were heading back to Calíope's house, I saw this little garden and I took the opportunity to take a couple of shots to close the day.

Cuando volvíamos a casa de Calíope, vi este pequeño jardín y aproveché para hacer un par de fotos para cerrar el día.
