i was visiting a friend in a rural place called Leirfjord in north norway. it is a very beautiful area with lots of mountains, fjords and islands. the house we were staying in was right along one of the national scenic roads. so you probably expect i would be posting photos of the mountains and sea. i have posted some here:

of course i will post some here in photography lovers also, but this post features rust on the shore outside an old boathouse. now i am not a fan of throwing old trash out in nature. it should be delivered to a junkyard for recycling.
but we have a saying here- 'never so bad that it isn't good for something'. and so it is, this old junk that has been rusting away for years has become quite photogenic. in fact, i was rather thrilled to have found so much of it. to be fair, not everything shown here is scrap, the metal plates are still in use by the boathouse. these photos are only a portion of what i found in the rocks and sand of this striking coast.
i took all these photos with my samsung s22. the editing has been done on the phone and/or with the free version of photoshop
