Yes! It's time for another art cocktail, mixed by the art gallery this time, making my life easier this way. For the past few weeks I've been focusing on trading and creative works, so art has taken a back seat, and I'm not regretting my decision. This has been a long planned phase that I've been waiting for for so long and now that I got to live it, I'm enjoying every moment of it.
However, art is an important part of my life, it means relaxation, motivation in my creative work, so I will always make sure to dedicate some time to it, even if it's just looking back to previous gallery visits, in order to create a post and share my experience with you.
So here I am, sharing some photos I took last month, when I visited one of my favorite art gallery, where I'm a regular already. Anyway, let's get started. Let's see what the group of artist prepared for you this time.
Mana Bucur - Tousled
Most likely you have rarely seen me saying such things about art, in my posts, but I don't like this. It's interesting and innovative, if I can use this word, I appreciate the effort as well, but it's not for me, so let's move on.
Csaba Sánta - Fairies
Here I remember I had to find a good angle for several reasons. The two metal sculptures are unconventional, I know, but it increases their value in my opinion. Bringing something new, unseen or even unique is key in this area and these two statues definitely check the boxes in this regard.
Zsigmond Bálint - I Became A Child Of God, Persistence
Two photos with deep emotional meaning. Two couples, who lived their whole life together. Too bad I could not get a better shot, but I hope you can see why these photos are valuable.
István Makkai - Ladder To Being
The title could be a little strange as there's no way to translate it 100% accurately, there may be some meaning lost in translation as they say, but I hope you can see what it means. I love the idea of using bones as ladder steps. It's maybe a bit forced, but if you think of it, the human body is also built like that, one bone on top of the other.
Örs Rezi - Play Abstract
This was a bit unexpected, or I wasn't ready for it, but it made me thinking that pretty soon we're going to see more digital art and I'm not referring to digitally created artworks, but created to symbolize the digital world, with digital items, peripheral equipment needed to create art.
Attila Pokornyi - Shelter
Looks like a pod to me, but also like a shelter. Could have double meaning as after all, a pod is a shelter for the beans or whatever seeds the pod contains. It's a good one.
Gabriella Fábián - Springtime
And this was the winner for me this time. I'm drawn to drawings, graphics and lately drawings for children's books and this fits perfectly. I love it!
Drawing is next on my list. I used to draw when I joined Hive and the community here with the amazing artists we have motivated me quite a lot as I have no talent, but then my attention turned towards other things.
Anyway, this is it for today. I hope you like the artworks and maybe you have a favorite too. Let me know.
