Autumn amazes me. Every year!
Just like winter snow is a surprise for drivers every year :)
I know it is coming. And then it hits me with all those colours and shapes and smells and I am so stunned I don't know where to look. After the long, boring and hot summer it is like a boost of energy for me.
Took the little Helios 44-2 for a ride today (even though I still had my trusty Sigma 105 with me.. just in case). To catch those colours and bubbles. And boy it showed me what it can. Again!
First stop were those golden leaves of Chinaberry tee. Soon they will all turn bright yellow. This is just a start.
Those trees meant to be fast growing and are a good decoration. In spring they are covered in lilac flowers, suring the summer they are full of fruits and in the fall they turn yellow.
This one also had a nice lichen which I couldn't resist to shoot.
And here is another little Helios surprise. The sharpness is just amazing! You can see the little black hair on it! I was about 1 - 1,5 away from the tree.
A little bit further away in a small park I found more colours and more lichens. It was noon and the park was completely empty despite really nice weather. Only a maintenance guy was mowing grass on the opposite site.
All the space just for me :)
I think My favourite Sigma 105 will take a little break this Fall. All the colours and softer light are asking for this type of bokeh.
If you ever wonder what to get to play with bokeh... or if you are just curious about the old Russian lenses. Get this one!
