A little trip to my mum's garden. One of the more shaded spots where sun huts only in the afternoon. And even that is a bit disturbed by the surrounding trees.
A nice spot when Rhododendrons and other bushes live.
I took Takumar for a little walk that day - it does well with this dappled sun and he looked like he was begging for some fresh air. A quick confirmation from my bro that I am alowed:
"Bro, I am borrowing Takumar"
"Don't break it"
"OK".
And all the fresh leaves that reflect the sun are just perfect to catch the bokeh bubbles. Maybe I didn't manage to get the wow effect, but I like the softness here and the vivid colours. Gotta say that all the different textures and shades of green (or orange) were very helpfully!
On the two photos above is one of the Rhododendrons that grow there. With bright orange Azalea behind they make a nice match.
Below an unknown to me plant that stupbornly clibs on one of the trees every year. And it needs to be trimmed every year or we wouldbt able to pass and every year it dies back for winter, only to start the invasion again in spring.
And no, we do not get rid of it on purpose - it is still pretty cool :)
Ivy that grows on the fence so much we don't see the fence anymore. He is the fence! And it also needs to be trimmed often of it would take over the driveway. It is so freaking beautiful though. Thick, lush and evergreen!
Bonus shot:
It is all very pretty when you walk around the garden, but it is good to look down sometimes under the bushes. I do that pretty often actually. I always look for snails!
