Nope, it is not from this year. I don't get snow where I live now. Even frosts are a rarity. And with current restrictions and rules I will not see snow this winter at all. Very unlikely anyway.
Those I shot one winter in our orchard in Poland. It was very late and warm fall and just few days before the end of my visit the snow came! And I was like a kid in a toy store :)
The cold air, the sound of snow and all the light flakes swirling around and the sun sparkling on the white fluff. I just love it!
I went to our orchard where we have some old beehives. All those were taken on the roofs. Moss grows on them and lichens and now it all was covered with fresh fluff. So lovely!
