The second hand laptop bag my younger brother gave me still holds my computer after all these years. It's got holes at the bottom where the oversized laptop corners sit and the handle has been broken since the first week he gave it to me. I have a habit of using the long shoulder strap to toss it behind the passenger seat of my car when traveling.
I was gearing up for an 8 hour road trip south to Tennessee - It was part vacation and part business. With my camera, editing equipment & a coffee in hand I walked to my car. I set the coffee on top of my 1998 Oldsmobil Eighty Eight and tossed all my belongings into the backseat. With a sigh of relief I stood up to take a drink of coffee.
That's when I saw it.
The light of the sunrise cast itself perfectly on a monstrous cloud right before me.
It seemed so low that it was about to touch the roof of the house. Luckily my camera was within arm's reach - it was moving FAST.

From the archive of my daily poster series.
I've committed to making a poster every day for 365 days in a row. I just hit day 200! - check out my Instagram to see other 199!
Days 155-200 have a LOT of cloud pictures just like this one I think you'll like :)
In fact, the whole reason this poster is so special to me is because of a follower, my great aunt!
She commented 'I see an old man!'
From that moment on I see nothing but an old man in the clouds - a weathered old man.
What makes this poster overly special to me is the fact that I originally named this poster the timestamp when the photo was snapped. It seemed so fitting the picture was of a weathered old man looking upon us.
From then on, I referred to this poster as 'Father Time'
