It's been a while since I shot or posted anything in black and white. I've always been a big fan of mono ever since I was at school as a teenager studying photography. I used to spend my time in a dark room with an enlarger and chemicals for company! (That's not nearly as weird as it sounds!)
I've shot quite a few models over the years and a monochrome conversion always seems to work with my stuff.
Emily
Emily is somewhat of a chameleon. She does sweet and sassy but she can turn in to something else like here at an urban apocalypse photoshoot. Some models can also do the "resting bitch face" very well and so can Emily!
Lilinka the Acrobat
OK she's not really an acrobat. I flipped the image 180 degrees to show Lilinka in a death defying pose! (This was actually Lilinka's idea and can't believe I didn't think of this!)
Gina
Gina has been one of my favourite models. She's the owner of an internationally renowned cheerleading group and has the muscles to prove it. Everything she did on the shoots I've done with her have been effortless and great to work with.
Jen
It turns out that black leather looks great in black and white. Who knew? :-)
Lilinka is looking at YOU!
This was my favourite from a recent photoshoot where Lilinka looks like she's acquired her prey and she's coming for you...
Nikki
I shot with Nikki a few times and this was a studio shoot where the theme was apocalypse. In writing this post, I realised I may have attended quite a few photoshoots where the apocalypse was the theme,
With this shot I used the ultra sharp Sony 85mm, the one you have to be careful not to cut your fingers with, it's so sharp!
Butter wouldn't melt
I'm afraid to say I can't remember the model's name in this shot. I will eventually when my brain kicks in!
I've seen pictures of this model looking all lovely with make up on and here we transplanted the same model in to a building of grime and dereliction and gave her a toy gun!
About me:
I usually specialise in shooting lightpainting images but occasionally dabble in urbex and artistic model photography. I'm always on the lookout for someone to collaborate with; please don't hesitate to get in touch if you'd like to create art.
