The last tour of Fall 2020
The Roman Fall lasted too short, but one of the last trips that I managed to free from the various restrictions due to Covid was right near Rome, in Castel Gandolfo; strangely, I had never been there before, despite the fact that the Castelli Romani have always been a very popular destination for all Romans.
Castel Gandolfo is the town of the Castelli Romani overlooking the lake of Albano, another Lazio municipality that is part of the Castles.
The village of Castel Gandolfo is a jewel that is part of the "Most beautiful Borghi in Italy ". In addition to being a city terrace on the beautiful Lake Albano, the village offers glimpses of a bright and saturated color that make walking happy even if with a mask.
On October 18th, it was a Fall Sunday with a hot sun that accompanied us throughout the whole tour between the upper village and the lakeside village.

One of the most beautiful things about this village is the mixture between the classic beauty and tradition of the ancient village, the authenticity of street art in the modern area and the natural beauty of the surrounding area.
I think this was the last real trip out of town the Fall of restrictions. I just hope to be able to return soon to go around unknown places, new places to discover and photograph.

L'ultima gita fuori porta dell'autunno 2020
L'autunno romano è durato troppo poco, ma una delle ultime gite che sono riuscita a strappare dalle varie restrizioni dovute al Covid è stata proprio vicino Roma, a Castel Gandolfo; stranamente, non ci ero mai stata prima, nonostante i Castelli Romani siano una meta molto gettonata da sempre, da tutti i romani.
Castel Gandolfo è la località dei Castelli Romani che si affaccia sul lago di Albano, altro comune laziale che fa parte dei Castelli.
Il paesino di Castel Gandolfo è un gioiello che fa parte dei "Borghi più belli d'Italia". Oltre ad essere una terrazza cittadina sul bellissimo Lago di Albano, il borgo offre degli scorci di un colore acceso e saturo che rendono felice passeggiare anche se con la mascherina.
Il 18 ottobre, era una domenica autunnale con un sole caldo che ci ha accompagnati durante tutto tutto il tour tra il borgo alto e il paesino sul lungolago.

Una delle cose più belle di questo paesino è la commistione tra la bellezza classica e tradizione del borgo antico, l'originalità della street art nella zona moderna e la bellezza naturale del circondario.
Credo che questa sia stata l'ultima vera occasione di gita fuori porta durante l'autunno di restrizioni. Spero soltanto di poter tornare presto ad andare in giro per posti sconosciuti, luoghi nuovi da scoprire e fotografare.
