Sitting lying running standing in the sun is something I don`t do often. With the amount of ink underneath my skin that would be irresponsible. I want my tattoos to be beautiful for as long as possible. You have to keep tattoos out of direct sunlight. The black ink causes the skin to heat up and you could even get blisters if you are in the sun for too long.
Don't get me wrong I love sunny days and being out in nature and all that jazz, but you gotta take care of your tattoos.
I asked chatGPT what she thinks of tattoos and their exposure to sunlight:
Even after your tattoo has healed, it's still important to protect it from direct sunlight. Exposure to the sun's UV rays can cause your tattoo to fade and lose its vibrancy over time. To keep your tattoo looking its best, it's recommended to apply a high-SPF sunscreen to your tattooed area whenever you plan to spend time outdoors. This will help to protect your tattoo from sun damage and keep it looking bright and colorful for years to come. In addition to avoiding direct sunlight, it's also essential to keep your healed tattoo clean and moisturized to prevent it from drying out and becoming damaged. Following a good aftercare routine can help to maintain the health and appearance of your tattoo.
She is right! who has a significant amount of ink will probably tell you the same. Sorry for the tag but you are the only person I saw here who can confirm my statements. I hope it is ok ;)
For the pics I used natural light only, no bounce, no negative fill except of course for the dark concrete walls in my Amsterdam Airbnb.
I hope you like these photos and if you do so please let me know in the comments.
Thanks, everyone for watching my stream tonight, hope to see you on the next one!
