Two weeks ago, I went on another sunset hike. The mountain we hiked up offered a view over an alpine lake on one side and on some nice fog over the flat countryside on the other side. In this post, I will focus on the view above the fog because it would be too many pictures otherwise.
I loved using my 70-200mm lens to get closer to the mountains above the fog.
But also the fog itself looked nice when shot closer.
And when the sun really went down, the light on the horizon was just pure bliss.
Part of a sunrise hike is the way down first during blue hour and then in the darkness. Just on the way, there was another spot that offered a view and I couldn't resist taking a couple more pictures.
After this shot, we had to turn on our headlamps but the way down was really smooth. I might share pictures of the view towards the alpine lake on the other side in a dedicated post soon. So stay tuned!
