For a while now I have been the cat lady, the cake lady, and now I am on my way to becoming the old lady of plants hahaha, and for a while now I have fallen in love with every plant I find on the way, and a couple of weeks ago when I was visiting my maternal grandmother's house, I saw that she had one of these in which my grandmother used to see the numbers to play in the lottery hahaha, and I wanted to bring some to my house. I must confess that since I brought them home I haven't planted them, I put them in a container with water and I change it daily, because between so much stuff I haven't gone to buy a pot to plant them. Last weekend my mom noticed that I had a series of buds that emerged as a kind of bouquet, we thought at the time that they were new leaves that were about to come out, however, a couple of days ago we realized that they are flowers and yesterday one of these finally opened.
Very similar to the anthuriums by the shape of its flowers, the Aglaonema commutatum, which I must say, I do not know if it has a common name, as many calls it fortune plant, because of the tendency of many to see numbers on the leaves of the plant to play the lottery, hahaha, yes, there is no choice but to laugh when we hear such things; this plant is very easy to maintain, and it is the first time I see it bloom, so, I think I will let it finish flowering to plant it in a pot permanently.
I did not want to miss the opportunity to photograph the first flower of these that I have seen, although others are on the way, so I took my camera and I set out to make some good shots of this little one, as I said very similar to the calla lilies and anthuriums, the truth is that I loved the subtlety of her figure and how delicate she looks. For these photographs I used the fish eye lens, I love the result that it leaves in some photographs, to tell the truth, and I only focused on the flower and the plant, I did not want to go further, for this I had to make use of the flash of the camera, since, without it, and due to the location of the plant, the photographs are very dark, which is not at all nice or even pleasant.
This type of flower are not so appreciated because they are not full of colors, rather they are classified as boring, similar to white flowers, however, they are so beautiful with that simplicity that characterizes them, and even more with the rarity of seeing them in this type of plants that do not usually show flowers. Editing these flowers was quite simple, to tell the truth because there is not much to fix, the model itself has a lot of beauty to offer, so a few small adjustments in brightness and light intensity, was more than enough for them.

Desde hace rato ya soy la doña de los gatos, la de las tortas, y ahora estoy camino a convertirme la vieja de las plantas jajaja, y es que de un tiempo para acá me he enamorado de cuanta planta encuentro en el camino, y hace un par de semanas que visitaba la casa de mi abuela materna, vi que tenía una de estas en las que mi abuela pancha solía ver los números para jugar en la lotería jajaja, y me quise traer unas a mi casa. Debo confesar que desde que las traje a casa no las he plantado, las coloque en un envase con agua y a diario se la cambio, pues entre tanta cosa no he ido a comprar un matero para poder plantarla. El fin de semana mi mamá se dio cuenta de que tenía una serie de capullos que emergían como una especie de ramillete, pensamos en el momento que eran hojas nuevas que estarían por salir, sin embargo, hace un par de días nos percatamos de que son flores y ayer una de estas por fin abrió.
Muy similar a los anturios por la forma de sus flores, la Aglaonema commutatum, que debo decir, desconozco si tiene un nombre común, pues muchos le dicen planta de la fortuna, por la tendencia de muchos a ver números en las hojas de la planta para jugar a la lotería, jajaja, sí, no queda de otra que reírse cuando escuchamos este tipo de cosas; esta planta es de muy fácil mantenimiento y es primera vez que la veo florecer, así que, creo que la dejaré terminar de florecer para plantarla en una maceta de manera definitiva,
No quise dejar pasar la oportunidad de fotografiar la primera flor de estas que he visto, aunque ya vienen otras más en camino, así que tome mi cámara y me dispuse a hacer unas buenas tomas de esta pequeñita, como ya lo dije muy similar a las calas y anturios, la verdad es que ame lo sutil de su figura y lo delicada que se ve. Para estas fotografías utilice el lente ojo de pescado, me encanta el resultado que deja en algunas fotografías, a decir verdad, y solo me enfoque en la flor y en la planta, no quise ir más allá, para ello tuve que hacer uso del flash de la cámara, ya que, sin él, y debido a la ubicación de la planta, las fotografías quedan muy oscuras, lo que no es para nada bonito o tan siquiera agradable.
Este tipo de flores no son tan apreciadas porque no están llenas de colores, más bien son catalogadas como aburridas, caso similar al de las flores blancas, sin embargo, son tan hermosas con esa sencillez que las caracteriza, y más aún con la rareza de verlas en este tipo de plantas que no suelen mostrarnos flores. Editar estas flores fue bastante sencillo, a decir verdad, pues no es mucho lo que hay que arreglarle, el modelo de por sí tiene mucha belleza que brindar, así que unos pequeños ajustes en el brillo y la intensidad de luz, fue más que suficiente para ellas.
