At my place of residence, the landscape is filled with the memories of the past. The history-laden remains of old castles that were once lively and now, in the arms of time, are just quite standstill.
It has been hidden away in a calm region of central Germany and has provided us with a unique opportunity to witness a bygone era. The elaborate exterior, the architectural symmetry, and the history that lies behind its stone walls are all that we need to stimulate our imagination. One can easily imagine the nobles walking around, the rustling of the nobles' dresses, and faint whisperings of court politics. The noise was almost silence, responsive to the footfalls of the noblemen, the spirits of the noblewomen, and the whispers of the court comedians.
The magic that is experienced at the time of standing in front of such places is the one which reminds us of the fact that even in a world that changes with the speed of light there are still things of the past that powerfully reverberate and can hit us flexibly.
