As I was looking to the vase with the lovely flowers I remembered an old TV spot from the distant 1983 that goes like:
If a stranger gives you flowers, it is because he was touched by the "IMPULSE"
Where "impulse" is a perfume that promises to seduce any man that smells it :)
A rather naïve advertisement for a rather innocent audience! I looked for it in YouTube (the link is at the bottom of the post) and it is even more artless than I remembered. But it is one of the things that enter our mind during childhood and stuck there for ever :)
The storyline itself is highly improbable. I don't know any people that give or receive flowers from strangers. And yet, the other day received a beautiful bucket of Narcissus tazetta from someone we didn't really know :)
It didn't happen because of her perfume or because someone was seduced but still, it was a lovely gesture that decorated with beauty and amazing scent, our table!
Actually the whole "incident" happened in a cook shop where we entered to buy some food. saw the flowers on the counter and exclaimed
What nice flowers!
The lady that cooks, heard her and come with a bunch of them as a gift! And since we live together it was a gift for me too :)
So today as I was thinking of all that, I decided to capture a few images of the bucket and write a few words to share this small agreeable incident!
For one more time my canon EF 100 mm f2.8L macro lens was there for me, performing excellent with the light of the living room window as the only lighting source.
And since it is Sunday, this is my contribution to #SublimeSunday inspired by and #BeautifulSunday initiated by

Have a great week!
All the pictures and the words are mine.
