Yesterday was the first day of loosening the lockdown restrictions in Greece and we made a small musical event to celebrate it! Actually it is the sequel of the Roof concert that we did on April 19. Back then it was just 4 musicians playing their music from neighboring roofs. This time the whole band is gathering at the same spot to perform an outdoors execution of "Daddy lolo".
As at the previous time I took a few pictures during the preparations and then I switched into filming video. And this time we even had a script to follow :)
The "production" is strictly amateur but it was so much fun and I think that the result is really enjoyable!
If you have missed my previous posts, let me remind you that I live at a very small village with a population of 140 people, on the northeast side of the island of Crete, in Greece. Having a band with 8 members in such a small village it is a big deal around here and we are very proud of it!
The rehearsal lasted a couple of hours so I had the time to take a few shots of everybody. The setting was inspiring and no one ever complained for a few extra pictures!
If you watch the video you'll see a lady walking down the stairs, passing through the band. I have to tell you that this wasn't planed, she just heard the music and come to say hello! The editing was made by the guy with the double bass with a free editing program so please be gentle with your critique :)
Cheers!
