Today I had a really busy day and it is getting late but I think I have enough energy left for a small post :)
I am sharing a set of night pictures in urban environment with the excuse of 's Photo Quest. The theme this week is High Motion so I was looking for a moving subject. And this picture with the red and white lines from the lights of the moving cars is a pretty good example of it!
But I have more shoots without moving things that are nice too. Keep scrolling :)
This majestic building is a very graphic representation of the concept of glamour, in 1872. It is the Apollon theatre in Patra and it is the Greek answer to the Teatro alla Scala in Milan. Actually it is a copy in smaller dimensions but still beautiful :)
I just love the perspective of this shot. The never-ending staircase, the sea, the mountains and finally the sky and the setting sun are pulling me right into the picture!
And a few more moving subjects. People, cars, motorcycles all together in a beautiful night out. This is a picture of a reality that has been stolen from us, the last couple of years, and should be reclaimed before we forget what it feels like.
Every time I look at an anchored ship my first (subconscious) thought is to get in. Every port is also a portal to new adventures or familiar reunions. Every trip is an expansion of our consciousness! We have been deprived from that too.
Last but not least the lonely chestnut seller. Looking at him from above is almost like a small island in the ocean :)
That's all folks! It is almost midnight and I could use some rest!
Cheers from Greece!
All the pictures and the words are mine.
