Last Sunday I went for a walk at the countryside around my village without a camera and I had to resort to my phone in order to capture some of the beauty of the awakening nature. This Sunday I was better prepared. And although the weather wasn't as good as last week, my dslr and my 100mm macro lens didn't betray me :)
I don't know why but today I kept focusing on yellow flowers. Maybe it was the blooming leaf mustard that was all over the place and got me into yellow mood or maybe I just needed some yellow boost, who knows! The fact is that I come home with a camera full of yellowish beauty!
As I told you a couple of days ago, we have south winds and a lot of Sahara sand in the air, so I knew in advance that landscape photography is out of the question for today but the macro approach can be so deceiving!
But I am "lying" to you with my pictures, I don't want to lie with my words too. The south wind has stopped so it is tolerable to be outdoors but it is still far from pleasant. You can taste the sand in the air as you breath and the horizon is a foggy mess but the flower don't seem to care and their scent is the perfect compensate for the stuffy air!
And for the last picture a touch of red just to point out the dominance of the yellow!
This is my contribution to the #SublimeSunday, instigated by , as well as the #beautifulsunday, hosted by

Have a lovely Sunday!
All the pictures and the words are mine.
