Dajti Mountain is a mountain in Albania that reaches a height of 1613 meters.
It is located in a vicinity of 26 kilometers from Tirana with about 26 types of forest trees and shrubs, which cover about 80% of the territory, plants and herbs, wild animals and birds, the two dominant peaks, the "balconies", standing on the rocks of slopes, winter snow and relatively high altitude from sea level, starting from 300 meters to the height of 1613 meters of the highest peak, in all 4 phytoclimatic zones and with a counter direction that ensures the sufficiency of sunny days, and for consequence with a cooler climate and cleaner air than the plateau where Tirana lies.
Dajti Mountain declared "National Park" and today has an area of about 3300 ha with the prospect of expansion up to about 11000 ha. Dajt Mountain is described as the lung of Tirana. From the top you can see all of Tirana. You can go up to Dajti mountain with a cable car which is the longest in the Balkans. Above the balcony where the cable car arrives there are restaurants, the possibility of horse riding and walking and even an adventure trail suspended between the trees.
