Last night, when we preparing to sit down for late dinner and kick our feet up, we got a sudden phone call from my sister's family, inviting us for a late night walk at a nearby lake and a nice swim.
The day had passed under the flag of hard work and busy bees, so a moment to enjoy the serenity of the quiet lake and the mirrorlike waters sounded good. Wasn't really a hard decision.
Perhaps it's the worldwide quarantine that messes with our brains and makes nature look better than ever before, after all, we get less of it, but larger doses.
There are a few more people at the lake, looking at us like lunatics, when we drop our pants. No, not to moon, but to shatter the glass surface of the lake.
Splash! And in we go. The water was absolutely freezing! Ducks take off from the reed a bit further, as the ripples reach them and wake them from their evening lull.
A couple at the shore shudders and the husband comes to touch the water. "Brr" and they run away faster than a bullet.
Was nice!
