Hello everyone! š
How's the week going on your end? Hope you are staying safe and happy! š
The carousel of pictures I picked for today's post is more of a throwback to the times when I was able to go to the sea pretty often during my college years because I was literally spending just around 2 hours by train to get there and take my vitamin SEA. š
However, it's been a few years since I and the Black Sea met each other, so I do miss this kind of vibes when the single noise you hear is the sound created by the waves reaching the shore or the seagulls that you will literally notice everywhere.
To be honest, I've always preferred the mountains instead of trips to the sea just because I hate crowded places and when it's very hot outside, and since you can barely notice a small part of the beach without being dominated by tourists during the summer, I was taking those trips to the sea only during the winter or early spring when I could spend just a few moments alone with the sea.
Another thing I love when I'm walking on the beach is paying attention to the colourful ground of thousands of shells of different sizes, shapes and shades, which is creating a mood that can only be met on this type of journey.
And yeah, just like everyone else, I used to always return with a few shells in my pockets and store them somewhere on the shelves at my house to revive the feelings I had while being there. It's just something that I can't describe in words but I do miss being there...
And one last thing I've always enjoyed paying attention to, is looking at the footprints left on the sand which even though it doesn't have the power to talk with you, will always share stories, words and things it assisted to.
Just imagine seeing a series of steps of a single person, or those of a person along with his dog, or some little steps of a kid jumping and running all over the place. š
Anyway, as much as I enjoy meeting the sea from time to time, as aware I am that some people might never have seen this kind of landscape before, while at the opposite are those who live close to the beach or islands and they already got tired of seeing the same waves and sand over and over again.
What I'm trying to say is that every single place has its own beauty and we always tend on getting used pretty fast to the same landscape instead of feeling blessed that we get to see it so often while others might have never seen it before. And we should definitely be more grateful to everything surrounding us no matter if we are talking about nature, objects, or people. š
I'll end this post with the promise of returning with some more landscapes like this one later this year because in August I and my boyfriend will have a 4 days trip to Danube Delta which even though I've seen before, it will be the first time for my boyfriend.
In plus, there are lots of routes you can follow with the boat on many places that I haven't seen before so we will definitely have plenty of options to choose from and I can't wait to meet this type of solitude and wilderness Romania is offering. š
Thank you for taking time to stop by, upvote, comment, follow, and/or reblog my content. š
