Hello hivers! It has rained quite a bit these last three days, the weather is much cooler, the humidity is starting to be noticeable, especially at night, and the sky has been turning gray for most of the day. It rained today too, so to add a little color and joy to the start of this week, I decided to make a big bouquet of flowers to share with you all 💐😁. There are lots of flowers, so you can choose your favorite to brighten up these next seven days. This bouquet is so exotic and original that it has two spiders, an ox, and a rooster, even has a banana flower 😂, tell me where else you're going to find one like that, hehehe 😁.
En este ramo incluí varias flores que nunca antes había visto, una de ellas es la flor de araña blanca, conocida también como bigotes de gato por los largos estambres que sobresalen y cuelgan de los pétalos, la encontré justo a la orilla de un puente que está sobre el río, es un arbusto grande y fuerte, resulta que son bastante comunes aquí y las usan mucho como plantas ornamentales ya que florecen constantemente. Lo curioso es que después de verla esa primera vez ahora me la consigo por todas partes 😂🤷🏻♀️.
In this bouquet, I included several flowers I had never seen before. One of them is the white spider flower, also known as cat's whiskers because of the long stamens that protrude and hang from the petals. I found it right on the edge of a bridge over the river. It's a large, sturdy shrub, and it turns out they're quite common here and widely used as ornamental plants since they bloom constantly. The funny thing is, after seeing it that first time, now I find it everywhere! 😂🤷🏻♀️.
En la plaza principal, que es la plaza Ribas, las áreas verdes están rodeadas de lirios araña, son muy llamativas y resaltan hermosamente cuando el día está muy soleado, cuando tomé estas fotos era mediodía y el cielo estaba totalmente despejado. Por otro lado, hay unas florecitas que están entre mis favoritas por la gran variedad de colores que pueden tener, las hay rojas, fucsia, anaranjadas, lila y amarillas, las flores de lantana, son encantadoras y las mariposas las aman así que son excelentes para atraerlas a nuestros jardines o balcones 🏵️🦋.
In the main square, that's Plaza Ribas, the green areas are surrounded by spider lilies. They're very striking and stand out beautifully on sunny days. When I took these photos, it was midday and the sky was completely clear. On the other hand, there are some little flowers that are among my favorites because of the wide variety of colors they come in, red, fuchsia, orange, lilac, and yellow. Lantana flowers are enchanting, and butterflies love them, so they're excellent for attracting them to our gardens or balconies 🏵️🦋.
Otro descubrimiento fueron las flores de Ayapana, tampoco las habia visto antes, son muy pequeñas pero resaltaban entre la resequedad de una ruta de senderismo que hice en las montañas del parque nacional Henri Pittier en Maracay. La foto la hice al mediodía bajo un sol inclemente 🥵 así que ni siquiera pude ver bien lo que estaba fotografiando jajaja 🥴.
Another discovery was the Ayapana flowers, I hadn't seen them before either. They're very small, but they stood out against the dryness of a hiking trail I took in the mountains of Henri Pittier National Park in Maracay. I took the photo at midday under a merciless sun 🥵 so I couldn't even see very well what I was photographing, hahaha 🥴.
A veces uno lleva toda la mañana o la tarde caminando por la ciudad haciendo las compras o alguna diligencia y de repente pasamos debajo de un árbol e inmediatamente sentimos una sensación de frescura 🌳🌬️😌, es el momento ideal para tomar agua y escapar unos minutos del sol. Así me pasó un día con la cayena, era casi mediodía y había mucho sol, me detuve un rato para sacar mi botella y beber agua, pero fue después que me percaté que estaba debajo de un arbusto de cayena jajaja, y lo mejor es que estaba lleno de flores 🌺😃, así que aproveché para tomar fotos aunque el resplandor del sol no me permitía ver muy bien la pantalla de mi teléfono 🤷🏻♀️.
Sometimes you spend all morning or afternoon walking around the city, doing your shopping or running errands, and suddenly you pass under a tree and immediately feel a refreshing coolness 🌳🌬️😌. It's the perfect moment to drink water and escape from the sun for a few minutes. That's what happened to me one day with the hibiscus. It was almost midday and the sun was intense. I stopped for a bit to get my bottle of water, but it was only later that I realized I was standing under a hibiscus bush, hahaha. And the best part was that it was covered in blossoms 🌺😃, so I took the opportunity to take some pictures, even though the glare from the sun made it hard to see my phone screen 🤷🏻♀️.
Las flores alegran la vista, el ánimo, los espacios y la vida, representan la esperanza para esa planta, ese arbusto o ese árbol, atraen miradas, olfatos y visitantes 🦋🐦🐝🐞, y también a la cámara de alguno que otro curioso como yo 😁.
Flowers brighten the sight, the mood, the spaces and life, they represent hope for that plant, that shrub or that tree, they attract eyes, noses and visitors 🦋🐦🐝🐞, and also the camera of some curious person like me 😁.
