Hi, What's up, guys? I hope you are always in good condition. Since I joined the Photography Lovers community, I've found so many images that are wonderful. So many genres of photography here, and our moderator and admin are always doing a great job curating the best photos every week and posting them into HotShot posts. And it also makes me get the best of me to produce the best images. So I hope you do too. Making great photos is not always about gear. So many photographers I meet use old equipment or film cameras, but the results are awesome. And it's because of training, again and again. No matter what gear you use, the people who see your photos still don't know your equipment until you show it to them, and some people who know about photographs don't care about your gear and just care about "the man behind the gun." So if you are still shy about your old equipment, just keep training and make the best version of photography for yourself first, and don't be scared to keep posting on this community too.
On this occasion, I will share my latest photography project, and I'm collaborating with Miss Tourism of Central Borneo to be my model. The concept of photography itself is Beauty On Vintage. The hardest thing about this project is searching for the hairdo capable of making the hairstyle vintage. Because in my town it is very hard to search for the person who is focusing on the hairdo. Because usually, the makeup artist does it by themself for this job. But today, it's different. Since I want to make a vintage concept, many makeup artists can build the hairstyle, and lucky to have a friend who is a makeup artist and has a friend who has focused on hairdos. And here is the results.
I love how the makeup artist and hairdo do a great job of making this concept happen, and I am also very happy to work on this project. I'm very impressed with the hairstyle, and it's suitable for the vintage idea. I'm even cannot move on from this photoshoot. The makeup artist is also doing a great job, I just requested to make a vintage look, and she can interpret it for the model. I'm happy to have them both as my partner this time.
For a new photographer, you can start finding your friend who is working as a makeup artist or hairdo. And invite them to collaborate with your concept. Please describe what you want, share your idea with your makeup artist, and share what finish results you want to make them understand what you need. But, don't forget to give them some tips to thank them for the time and for doing a great job for you. Every person has time and money they pay for the course, so if you want to collaborate, give a little appreciation for paying for their sweat.
Lastly, please don't fear what people think of your work. Practice will make it perfect. I'm also new to photography, but I don't care what people think of my photos. I'll go straight ahead and practice again and again. I believe one day. We can produce beautiful images.
