Hi, photography lovers community. Hopefully, all members in this community are always well and in good health so that they can create stunning photography works.
Today I will share one of my photography results. But, let me introduce the model first. I have posted several times with her as the model but haven't had time to introduce her to you. She is a friend of mine, her name is Vita, and she is also the one who helped me when I first learned photography using lights. Like my previous post about the first time using lights in photography.
Vita is an amiable person. Lucky I have her as a model, so I can learn to use lights. Of course, the use of lights in photography is tricky, and until now, I'm still learning to use lights as an element of photography. And it takes patience to take the photo itself. Fortunately, Vita can cooperate and be patient so that when the photo is taken, the model's mood is maintained. Here is the photo.
Taking this photo requires a lot of patience because I'm a single fighter myself, so I don't have an assistant to do all the preparations. But because I have a model who is also a good friend, it helped me quite a bit in doing some preparations. I needed not to do so much preparation in taking this photo. It's just that I wasted quite a lot of paper to get the shape I imagined. So actually, we just repeated to make a tear on the paper so that the results are pretty good when the photo is taken.
I said earlier that taking this photo required patience. This is more because I have to adjust the position of the lights myself, then return to the initial position, and take photos. If it is not to my liking, I will move the lamp position again. And this will drain the mood of the model, not to mention I also have to shift the reflector, which is quite significant because it is made of styrofoam with a width of 1m and a length of 2m. In addition, because this is a studio that was transformed from the living room, it does not have air conditioning and only a fan, so you can imagine the sweat dripping when taking photos.
All you need to take this photo is some paper because we will tear the paper several times to find the correct pattern. Actually, I want to use newsprint because in my view, using newsprint can play a more dramatic mood later. The drawback is that the newsprint is fragile, so I have difficulty finding the correct pattern. Maybe if you want to use this photo idea as a reference, I will be delighted.
A little illustration if you want to use newsprint. Maybe you can use newsprint with news content that is quite dramatic so that later you can experiment with model costumes, for example, covering the model's eyes with a bandage with both hands holding the newsprint.
And this is the last photo when both of us were getting tired, so we didn't think about the pose we wanted anymore, so it was more of a spontaneous pose. I hope you guys like it.
