For the past month, I have been traveling a lot in my beautiful Croatia, recording everything with my camera, looking forward to a photo. So with today's post, I am in Bakar, a beautiful blue town in the north of the Adriatic. Bakar has a long history dating back to antiquity, and over the centuries it has been under the rule of various states and noble families. In the Middle Ages, it developed as an important trading and maritime center. In the 18th and 19th centuries, it experienced a boom in shipbuilding and maritime trade, becoming one of the most important ports in the northern Adriatic.

Bakar has also been known for centuries for its captains and sailors. Its sailing ships have left waves behind them all over the world. The old town core with its narrow stone streets and stairs that give a special Mediterranean atmosphere, unfortunately remained unrecorded by my lens because I was in a hurry and spent about thirty minutes on the coast. I still have that task left, maybe this spring.
I took the photos with a Nikon D750, 50mm lens, f/1.8, manual mode, RAW format required, variable ISO and shutter speed. Processing in Photoshop - Camera Raw Filter.
