There's this little trick that I come back to every now and then, just to mess around with a bit. It's quite simple to set up, really; turn the lights down low, turn your phone's flashlight on, lay it face-down on the table, and just put something on top of the light. Particularly something glassy and see-through- bonus points if it's colourful- but you can make some more opaque objects work as well. And the result? The whole thing lights up, and shines bright in the darkness. I'm posting these as a set of photography, but pictures don't even really do it justice, you ought to try it for yourself. If the light is strong enough- or the object is translucent enough- it could even light up the walls, and ceilings, in colourful lights. It'll definitely make your next shadow play more interesting...
