Another evening, another walk in nature. It was nice weather so I wanted to go on a walk. To somewhere new but not too far. Its a hard task because I have been pretty much everywhere in this part of Estonia. Finally, I decided to go to the Paljassaare peninsula, this is pretty much located in Tallinn, not sure if the nature reserve itself goes under the Tallinn.
It's a nature reserve because there are many plant species that are protected and it's also one of the biggest bird nesting areas in Estonia.
I have actually been to Paljassaare peninsula before but on the smaller peninsula. There is also a big peninsula which I had not visited before.
On the birdwatch tower, this road leads to the big peninsula.
This field is underwater when the sea level rises enough during storms.
Soon enough I arrived at the top of the peninsula, there was a great view of the sea all around.
Golden hour
Nearby is an old military structure.
On the way back I saw a huge structure. I hoped that there is a way to get inside but there was none actually. In fact, there was not a single visible way to get inside. I wonder what this was used for.
I think these huge exhausts lead inside but they were closed off as well. Not sure I would have tried to enter even if it was possible tho.
Last, just a nice sunset.
It definitely was an interesting evening walk!
