I remember when I traveled to Iceland for the first time, I found it extremely hard to not stop on the road and start taking photos. Everywhere you go pretty much is a scenic place where you can get a good photo. All the other visits to Iceland have been easier on that front. I'm already used to seeing these kinds of landscapes and I don't feel the need to stop everywhere to get a photo taken.
Of course, when I see great lighting and a stunning landscape then I can't resist the urge and still stop and start getting some photos sometimes.
I had driven this particular road before but never in good weather so the view was pretty new to me. I had to make a stop and get some photos.
We were driving to a trailhead we wanted to do a hike. After doing the hike( which is another post subject) we drove back on the same road. I stopped again in the evening next to this same body of water but in another spot. It's not a lake but a fjord named Hvalfördur.
Took some more photos of this beautiful view.
