I do have this weird small plastic box, which is a camera that takes photos on a film. I haven't used it for a while now. I recently developed 2 film rolls that I had full of photos since 2023. On one of the film rolls I found some photos from Iceland. Of the trip where I went to see the erupting volcano.
I usually take photos of people with this camera because landscape photos are pretty much a no go, everything is blurry. I cant change any settings on this 80's camera and it is only in focus, or sharp about 2-3 meters away from the camera.
Here I wanted to share some shots from this Iceland trip. If you missed to see my face then you are in luck today because I wanted to have some photos taken of me too.
Ah hell, I miss Iceland.
This is a shot of the red hot glowing lava. You are probably not making a difference of lava and glowing ashes here😄.
Here I am on a glacier. Im not entirely sure which on but I think it is Solheimajökull.
This is the island of Heimaey, in southern Iceland. I was hiking, the volcano that erupted in 1987. Of course taking a ton on photos in the process. I have already posted all of those adventures here on Hive.
Elephant's rock on this island.
Here is one extra shot that I really like. This is not from Iceland, that is taken in Estonia. Somewhere at the seaside.
This old plastic piece of crap really does capture the authentic 80's vibe on the photos.
If you havent and for some reason want to see more of my adventures on Iceland over the several years then look me up on Pinmapple map. I got hundreds of posts pinned there over all of the Iceland.
