On Christmas evening, I went to one of my country houses to celebrate. I also took some pictures during my time there and just today I finally imported these from the memory card.
The first one is taken next to the field, just after the sun went below the horizon. It was the darkest time of the year so this was around 3.30 PM
The following photos are long exposures, taken in the dark. My family was singing next to a tree that my grandfather planted. He passed last year. I at the same time tried to get some cool-looking photos.
We had a walk over the fields, to see the nearby cemetery next to a church. On Christmas eve, people come and light many candles in the cemetery to remember the lost ones. Looks really beautiful in the dark, I didn't take a photo of it tho.
What I did take a photo of, was the small countryside church. This place is generally very dark and with little light pollution so the sky is extremely starry.
Took more shots that evening but I think these are the only ones worth sharing.
I find it always fun to try and take photos in the dark, experiments of sorts.
