A couple of months ago I did a post that I got a strange camera from my relative and I have no idea what this camera is. There is no make and model on it. All I know is that it shoots on film and now I have tried it out and got the film developed.
Since it's a bit of a crisis with the color films( supposedly lack of precious metals for film manufacturing), I had to make do with black and white film this time. Here are some photos I captured on this film. The results are quite interesting I would say.
This is a 90's or even 80's camera and the photos quite show. What I noticed is that I can get clear shots but only if the subject is closer than 5 meters. If I do shots as you see above, I get this blurry mess but there is something that I like in that effect I can't quite describe.
Here is a photo of my grandmother, it's a sharp one because it's close. I can't control the focus, focal length, or aperture on this camera.
Most of the time tho, I don't take shots of people and I have these nature photos.
Me, in the night.
This camera tends to get these circular reflections when the sun shines into the lens.
Here are the final two photos taken by my girlfriend, of me, in my natural habitat. Camera in my hand, in nature.
In a snowy wonderland. You will see a post about it soon enough.
The photo below looks like it's from 1800, except for the modern mirrorless camera in my hand 😅
It was really cool to experiment with my new strange film camera and I quite like the result. I managed to buy 2 rolls of color film( expensive as hell ). So you will see some color film photos I have taken at some point but it probably won't be earlier than a couple of month's time. I try to not take too random pictures on film and I don't use it as much.
