These are some quite old pictures already that I haven't posted about. Taken on a mid-summer day when after visiting my country house we went to my girlfriend's country house. Most favorite place I always want to go when there is down to the beach. You have to go through a thick forest, down a steep coastal cliff and then you arrive at the beach. In mid-summer, the sun sets right on the sea opposite of us so it creates beautiful lighting in the forest.
This coast is always changing. The beach gets eroded, trees fall off the cliff regularly or parts of the cliff just collapse. It's quite the same case as with the coastline near my home too.
Every time I visit there in my girlfriend's country house and go to this beach, every time it looks different.
I love this beach because it's always so calm there. Very silent( when the sea is not stormy ). I mean silent in terms of no people roaming this beach. It is away from towns and settlements so there are not really any people that will walk great distances to get to this particular section of the beach.
That tree was not like this before.
The sunset was also beautiful this evening. The time was 21.10 in the evening at the time, days were very long. Right now it's 16.52 at the time of writing this, in the evening and it's long ago pitch dark outside.
The collapsing cliff. This is a sandstone cliff and therefore not very durable and cant withstand erosion well.
Looks to be a cliff that collapses often, I don't remember that It looked like this year before. Some huge pine trees will fall down really soon. Maybe some of these trees are already down because these pictures are almost half a year old.
I will probably be back there during Christmas and will see what has changed since the last time again.
