When I went to eastern Estonia for a ski trip I managed to hurt my hand and the planned day 2 on the hill was abandoned for this reason. Instead, we went to check out a waterfall nearby on the coast that should be pretty scenic. And it was, the waterfall was 99% frozen and with minimal water flow. It was more like an ice sculpture than a waterfall.
You can see a 10 meters high pile of ice, it is almost as high as the waterfall itself. Previously there had been very cold weather for weeks.
It is much larger than it looks like in this photo.
Look at these frozen bushes
We also decided to go down to the beach and see the piles of ice up close.
Staircase down the cliff
Ice was thick enough to walk on it so we were able to get close.
View from the sea. This one gives you a little more perspective on how large this waterfall is.
Later when we were back up, I took one shot from the sea.
and the frozen bushes above the waterfall.
Great and definitely a scenic location. I would love to see it in the summer when I'm in the area.
