At the start of August, I went to the Czech Republic with my girlfriend and a friend. The purpose of going there was actually a drum and bass music festival named Let It Roll that happened a bit outside of Prague but we stayed in a hotel in the capital. We purposely arrived in Czechia a couple of days earlier so we could explore in Prague and outside of it.
This post is fully about walking around in the capital Prague and the sight we saw there. We all were very tired of waking up at 3 AM at the night to catch the flight but there was no time to waste so we had so much walking to do around the city. The weather was +30C but that was not yet bad, the following days were crazy.
I don't know the name of every building or church in Prague that I took photos of. In fact, there are countless churches, on every corner, there is a church to see. Interesting thing is that the people there are not religious at all, at least the big majority of them.
Venceslas square
The crowds were big there. I don't really enjoy walking or being in crowded streets and so on. You know that I am much more of a nature person than a city guy. Still If traveling you gotta see the famous locations and capital cities.
Overall, Prague is a really beautiful city and I like this central European architecture. I have been to Germany, Munich and the architecture is quite the same in Prague too.
Below is the head of Franz Kafka and it rotates. Unfortunately, we had misunderstood that it does not rotate all the time. It rotates every half an hour but it was still 20 minutes to wait and we didn't really want to waste time so we only saw a stationary sculpture.
Here is the astronomical clock that apparently is a huge sight in Prague. Every hour it makes a show with moving parts there. A huge crowd was waiting to see it. Many hundreds of people if not a thousand. Honestly, it wasn't that incredible to see, just some skeleton ringing a bell😅.
The huge church you see on the photo was pretty nice, we went close to it on another day and will do a separate post on it.
Here are some more churches, like I said there are countless of these.
One of the most famous locations to see in Prague is the Charles bridge. Built-in 1357.
That was more like a general post of Prague, I have locations that I want to do posts separately also we went hiking in the national park which was awesome.
It has happened so I have so much traveling going on. I visited the Czech Republic, now I came back from Iceland and I will go to Madeira in less than 2 weeks. I have so much travel content to show you, that's crazy, also stuff from Estonia where I live. But that's good when the ugly months arrive( November, December ). I don't do much photography and so on because there just isn't much to take photos of in nature. Then it's good to have loads of content available.
