At the moment, it's spring already and I can't wait for it to fully kick in already, we no longer have any snow on the ground. I still have some winter content to share with you though and this post is one of them.
Back in December, we had a trip to the Estonian island Saaremaa with my girlfriend. We had to drive from the capital Tallinn to western Estonia to get on a ferry that gets us over the sea to Saaremaa. The drive there was absolutely gorgeous, it was a cold sunny morning and sunshine doesn't happen very often in December. The snowy and frozen trees created such a beautiful landscape everywhere.
Since I was behind the wheel and couldn't take pictures, I asked my girlfriend to snap some pictures with my camera. She took a bunch of photos during the drive and I chose some of the better ones to keep and share here as well.
Keep in mind that this is the brightest it got pretty much during this time of the year, it's the darkest time and the sun doesn't get high in the sky.
The more west we drove, the more beautiful the scenery got in my opinion.
Also had a bit of fog in some places and this created some more different lighting conditions.
Here, the trees got totally white and it looked amazing. Frozen and beautiful scenery. The temperature was about -14 degrees C.
When we arrived in Saaremaa later, there was so much snow on the ground, and was truly a winter wonderland. Will show you about it soon enough, stay tuned!
