I recently sifted through my December 2000 photos and stumbled upon a series from my hike in the Rax Mountains. Despite the less-than-ideal weather, I was determined to go. Big mistake. I ended up navigating through fog and wind, turning what should have been a hike into a survival exercise. Thankfully, I made it home safely, only to spend the next week coughing my lungs out with bronchitis.
I captured these photos with my first digital camera, the legendary Nikon Coolpix 990!
