As I was struggling to get the last pictures of my road trip to Sweden edited, now I am struggling to wright a nice blog post about it! This is because I don't have any pictures with the story I wanted to tel you all! This whole traveling and taking pictures everywhere I go, is just a big learning curve for me!
I love to make beautiful pictures but what I really want to learn is to tel you all kinds of stories with my pictures! Together with a beautiful text, I want to tell you a complete story of the things I see and tell a story about the people I meet along the way!
Like the people I have met the last couple of days of my journye! I don't have any pictures of any of them! For example, there was a girl from Belgium, who just got here drivers license 6 months ago, she bought a Renault Kangoo, build a bed and a kitchen in the back, and she drove off to Sweden! It was here first car and she assent any driving experience what so ever, and she just drove off to Sweden! It was such an inspiring woman and we have had all kinds nice conversations!
And I have met another woman from the Netherlands who was living in here Citroen Belingo...! Together with here dog, she was roaming around Europe, discovering beautiful places and meeting beautiful people! She spent some time looking for communities where she could stay for a longer period of time! Helping out on farms or other off grid communities! I did found a picture of here dog on my telephone!
But really, I want to take more storytelling pictures! So that's what I am going to try to do on my next trip! But before I tell you about my next trip, here is the last part of my journey trough Sweden!
Because of the people that I have met on my last day's in Sweden, I decided to stay at the camper parking at the The Hills of Brosarp for a couple of day's! From there I wanted to visit Stenshuvuds nationalpark! That was a nature park along the east coast of southern Sweden! that park has got nice beaches were you can swim, nice cliffs witch you can climb and a nice forest like coastline with a couple of good hiking trails!
From the parking you walk over a wooden pathway directly towards the beach! Of course I don't have pictures of that path, but hey, story telling is a learning process! At the end of the trail there is this little fishing house! There you have a nice view over the beach!
The beach was awesome as you can see, and there was a wedding shoot going on! Always cool to spot some colleagues!
Next to the fishing house is the beginning of the trail up the cliffs! You wander around rocky path ways and you walk along beautiful purple heaths fields! But September and October are probably better months for the purple colors!
There are a couple of trails around the area that you can take! I forgot to take a picture of the signs where the routes are on, so I cant remember how many trails, but I took the yellow path along the coast line! This trail leads you past the lighthouse and finally all the way to the top of the cliffs!
The path is easy to walk, but occasionally you come across more difficult parts! Like this part! Good hiking shoos are recommended! My goal on this trip was to take some long exposure shots of the lighthouse and the rocky coastline! That is one of my favorite kinds of photography! It smooths out the water and clouds! Gives you more of a surreal image!
I also spotted some birds and a big war ship! It was patrolling the coast line, because at the other side of this water is a little part of Russia, called Kaliningrad! That was the moment I realized that war was closer than I imagined! i took this picture with my 70-200mm lens and a 2X extender! So combined, a 400mm zoom!
But I came here for the lighthouse! It was a little disappointment because this lighthouse was also pretty small! I don't know why, but I imagined that they are all much bigger! I tried doing some long exposures here to! Didn't work out as I had hoped they would! The clouds warn't that spectacular! the panorama is a picture made out of 10 vertical pictures and the original is 20021 by 5494 pixels and a 71Mb file!
Then it was time to go up! I hoped that I could see the lighthouse from the top but that didn't happen! Yeah, it was that small. The view from up there was spectacular! This is a panoramic shot of 16 vertical images! the original picture is 25256 by 5362 pixels, and the file is 82,5 Mb big! :p
A little picture for my sponsor F-stop gear!
There are two different places you can go up! One gives you a view to the south east, over the beach like the pictures above here! And the other one gives you a north east view over the park! As you can see down here!
As you can see, the sun came out and it was time to go down again! I really needed a swim at this point! the trail down is way easier, and I spotted some wildlife at the way down!
On the way down there were a couple of big trees! I love this so much! Now I want to take pictures of them in every season of the year, making a four season quartet!
And my finnal picture of this trip is someting I see so often! Why is it that redbull drinkers are so careless about the environment? Yes, I picked it up! As I do always, i don't leave nothing but footprints!
